This 2024 Samuel Carvalho Especial Doubletop No. 847 is a beautiful modern concert guitar from Brazilian luthier Samuel Carvalho. It features a spruce double top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, a raised fingerboard, and a soundport.

The Especial model is one of Carvalho’s refined concert-level builds, combining the power and immediacy of modern double-top construction with an elegant, highly polished aesthetic. With its 650mm scale and 53mm nut width, it offers a familiar setup for classical players, while the raised fingerboard provides easier access in the upper register.
